I'm missing the lovely Yamaguchi summer. 

All the cold and rainy weather we've been having is making me want to swim across the ocean to Okinawa, where it's at least a wee bit warmer than Iwakuni.  But here I am - busy as can be - nestled between the mountains of southern Japan, attempting to force the summer to come with my mind. I'm not resentful of the present weather... I just can't wait for the warm season and all that comes with it. 

So here I sit like a pitiful mourner of summer, looking at all the pictures from last year...until I can finally say it's summer again:)
